Excellent service!! Staff very polite and courteous with up to date information regarding how the work is progressing. Their pre purchase check up is the best. They take pictures of all problem areas, give a detailed report of what needs to be done immediately or can wait, and explained why. Best of all respected my decision of what work I wanted to have done. They gave me a time it would be ready and they delivered. This car now runs and handles like brand new and instead of selling it I'm keeping it! I would recommend them to anyone who asked, especially if they were looking for a thorough evaluation.

What else can I say besides awesome. Car broke down on a road trip up from Florida and was taken care of better then I could have ever expected. I was called first thing Monday morning told my car was being looked at and they made multiple follow up calls letting me know the status of the repairs and when it would be done . I've been the kind of person who works on their own vehicles for years so trusting a mechanic is hard let alone a thousand miles from home . They are the best people I could have hoped for to work on my car in my situation . My car was completed in one day and for a very reasonable price for what I needed done . If I lived in the area I'd bring my car to them all the time for work if I had to .

Found this shop as my regular Machanic was overrun with customers and could not service me when I needed . Mr Buckley’s team took me in , and not just serviced my vehicle but took the extra step of sending me a very informative clip of my car and some potential problems as well as the solution for my current situation... Very professional and TRUSTWORTHY !!!!! They know their work and don’t play with their reputation. Only take your car here if your serious about getting her fixed ... they will always lead you the right way .... Excellent service that will undoubtedly leave you with peace of mind. I requested a car inspection for a used vehicle I intended to purchase, and Greg's help was crucial. I have mixed reviews for this place. But to sum it up, The mechanic was honest and knowledgeable but they didnt find the actual problem of my car. The owners son also lied to me about why my car was left unlocked for (who knows) how long. They also charge obnoxious amounts for simple jobs. I saved myself $1700 by doing a timing chain myself.

Overpriced was trying to charge me 157 dollars for a part from Napa that I could get for 94 dollars over the counter.

Hello Tim, Thanks for the information. As a small business we do try to be fair in everything we do. Evidently you called for an estimate because I don't see a formal repair ticket in our system. But in any case, it's absolute fact that you or anyone else can get parts pricing online for much less than I or any other business can. But, I am not NAPA AutoParts who can sell at that level. They sell to me at that same price and as any business who has to pay employees, provide benefits, vacation time, health insurance and more (Like Summit Aviation provides for you and your family) in addition to warrantying those parts and the labor to install them nationally for 3 years, 36,000 miles, in addition to supporting many local charities in the community, a raise in margins has to be expected. Your experience with buying and selling cars online, flying and aviation certainly makes you a man of many talents and it's good you're looking for the best parts price you can find since you must do the repairs yourself. I find no fault in that. I just wish that as consumers (me included) that before we become disgruntled over an experience, we understand the circumstances beneath them. From all sides. Especially when we don't experience the service under the sale. It's strange but I think I could be upset at my local True Value all the time because they can't match the price of Home Depot or Lowes. But their service is amazing and I make them the first stop. Or, Kathy's Crab House where I pay a good price for fat, delicious crabs even though I could drive to Crisfield, MD and buy them cheaper. Cheaper is everywhere. My team and I are out here every day trying to do the right thing under all circumstances, just like you are. It's not easy for sure. You know that. But after 53 years in business, we keep going. Just like you. Just an FYI - I've sent your review to NAPA to see if they can help in getting better pricing to me so I can offer it to others. I've also sent it to other colleagues (locally and nationally) who face the same issues since you bring up good points. Your feelings about pricing will go far and wide and maybe make a difference.
